Eligibility Criteria

Children, who are:
 

· At risk of removal from their home or foster care placement due to behavior problems in the home, school or community; and without intervention, may need to be placed in a more restrictive environment.

· Returning to the community from a restrictive environment and need transition and
stabilization services.

 · At risk of removal from their home due to abuse and/or neglect by their caretakers, these
children do not have to be exhibiting inappropriate behaviors to be referred.

· Having difficulty in existing placements and require additional supportive services to remain in a current placement.

· A risk to themselves or others and require additional services in order to be maintained in the community.

 

Non-Eligible Clients

Children, who:

· Have had recent (within 3-6 months) incidents of violence or harm to themselves, which
resulted in physical restraint.

· Have an IQ less than 70.

· Are actively psychotic.

· Have a diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder.

· Have a primary diagnosis of substance abuse.
